Family
Therapy
Hudson Valley Therapy (HVT) assists families to improve stress or other distress by strengthening interaction between loved ones. Characterized as strength based treatment, family therapy aims to adjust problems or patterns rather than to treat the problems as residing inside a person.

Couples
Therapy
Helping romantic unions gain insight into their relationship, Hudson Valley Therapy resolves conflict and improves relationship satisfaction, utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions.

Behavioral
Therapy
Hudson Valley Therapy provides services to parents struggling with their child’s oppositional, defiant and disruptive behaviors. We use Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), a proven effective, evidence-based treatment for children between the ages of 2 and 7. Our goal is to help parents by developing a strong positive bond with their child, early in childhood, which facilitates calm, consistent limit-setting, improving the overall quality of life in the home.

Individual Therapy
Our goal is to assist each client in identifying which therapeutic path is best for them. We use a variety of treatment approaches including, but not limited to:
-
Acceptance Commitment Therapy
-
Internal Family Systems
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
-
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
-
Mindfulness practices
-
Evidence Based Grief Therapy

Tele-Health
Therapy
Hudson Valley Therapy provides both in person and telehealth services to all their clients. A HIPPA compliant platform is used to provide convenient services when traditional face-to- face therapy is not an option.
